Summary

We know when an I & D Supervisor is present, the installation process runs smoothly, clients are happy, and the show is a success. A Supervisor is vital to the success of the installation and dismantle process. The I & D Supervisor is dedicated to a booth and responsible for keeping the entire booth build moving forward. They must be experienced problem solvers and "big picture" thinkers - providing peace of mind, knowledge of industry standards and local union regulations. If there is a problem, it's up to the supervisor to fix it, as they are responsible for the quality of the work that they oversee. The I&D Supervisor helps coordinate all of the subcontractors so that one is not working on top of the other. They are the most knowledgeable about what needs to get done, and when, so that the build can continue moving forward in a productive manner.

On the show floor, the I&D Supervisor ensures that electric, internet, and flooring are all installed in correctly before the booth build begins. They are on site to get the rigging moved up when the build runs ahead of schedule, or push back the AV call when it runs behind. Being an I&D Supervisor is much more than keeping a watchful eye on your subcontractors. It's staying one step ahead, keeping an eye on the clock, changing orders on site - all to eliminate potential chaos and additional on-site charges.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the client and Exhibitus on the show floor in a professional manner
• Travel to shows, or offsite installation and manage projects to deadlines and consistently deliver against commitments
• Communicate with the project teams regarding onsite labor needs
• Assist with labor calls, scheduling, timing, budgeting
• Accurately prep exhibits to ship, check hardware and tools, review drawings
• Place freight, check service orders, ensure everything is on schedule
• Facilitate onsite changes with the project team and client
• Manage all on-site subcontractors
• Complete reports concerning field service jobs
• Prepare outbound labels/bills of lading from show site
• Work in the shop & warehouse when not traveling: Leading, Building, Inbounding, and overseeing all the necessary steps to prep a job to ship
• Exert a positive influence on fellow team members, both at Exhibitus and the show floor
• Performance must reflect the highest standards of great customer service, prudence and safety
• Able to meet the physical demands of the job; long hours, heavy lifting, manual dexterity, mobility
• Great communication skills and the ability to remain calm and pleasant under a lot of stress
• Willing and able to travel extensively and work long and odd hours
• Must thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

Minimum Requirements/ Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• 2-3 years of experience in the industry strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to multitask
